Stop with the pants biting!
I am at my wits end. I can handle the arm chewing/knawing and it's actually been decreasing, at least in pressure because I am not bleeding much anymore. However, the leg attacking and pant leg biting is getting worse and driving me CRAZY! I have never seen a pup go after one's ankle this much. Ever. And I see GSD pups all the time. I see every kind of pup all the time at work. It got so bad that I began scruffing him, and it works but 1.) I hate it, and 2.) he will do it again a couple minutes later.
I know this is normal for them but I always read about the hand biting. I'd take that over the leg biting any day. He is almost 13 weeks old. I think what's really bothering me is that I bring him to work with me at Petsmart and he is very well behaved normally and listens for the most part, does great. But it's embarrassing when the trainer's dog is fixated on her pant leg. And it's embarrassing for me to have to ask other people for help, but I know this is the best place. I placed a Gentle Leader on him and it made it go down, but I still have to hold the leash out away from my body if he gets too rambunctious to keep him from mauling my legs.
Does ANYONE have a technique that works???
