New Puppy- GSD and...?

This is Duke, our new puppy. Now, every time we go to the pet store, half the people think he's a GSD and half think he's a Rottie.

Well he's a GSD mix and I got to see the mom... A purebred.

But what could the dad be? A lab? A Rottweiler?

I'm no expert at all, but I think I agree with some if those people. My first thought was GSD and rottie mix. But as he gets older you well be able to tell better with what he's mixed with. He's very cute by the way!
