Pretzels & Bier

I'm watching TV, surfing the internet on my new Lenovo laptop, and having a Warsteiner. I get up to get a bowl of pretzels and Lisl hears the bag russling.

I get re-situated on the couch, take a sip of my beer and Lisl is sitting off to the side wanting a pretzel. She's had them before, eats all of it, and doesn't leave crumbs all over.

I know she wants one but she;s not begging. She's probably waiting for me to tell her platz. But I don't.

I give her a freebie since we've already trained today.

She takes the prezel gently from my fingers and I see her lay down with it.

Next she's back at a sit wanting another one. This was just seconds before I gave her the first one. She's lost it.

I take another look at her at it's stuck to her lower left lip. She doesn't even know it's hanging there.

I gently peel it off of her lip and hand it to her again. She looks at me like, "Where'd that come from? I thought I ate it."

No more pretzels for tonight.

Are you SURE she didn't have a sip (or three) from your Warsteiner while you were getting the pretzels??

Naw, she's been napping most of the evening after dinner. I wore her out today.

She looked like the Pretzel Vampire with that pretzel hanging off the side of her lip.

Sorry, no camera within reach. I pretty much thought anything worth taking today would have happened before now.

You just never know.

With this kind of moment it would have been caught in camera and I think it would have been adorable.
