Is this sweet boy a true GSD?
First time posting , hope the pictures attached. We purchased this boy from a family on craigslist. Both parents were onsite but neither were registered. Since we are only looking for a family dog we dont really care however I'm really hoping he's truely a gsd. Hes 7 weeks old but seems rather small imo.

I kinda wished we would have shopped around more but I fell in love. Hes going into the vet in the morning for his checkup so hopefully we get a clean bill of health. Either way we already adore him and he's curled up in my lap sound asleep.

Yeah he sure looks like a pure gsd, he's very cute and if he's tiny it's only b/c he's still so young give him time to grow and fill out , I'm betting it won't be to long. I hope all goes well tomorrow and he has a clean bill.Congrats !

It looks pure, but honestly if I didnt have a pedigree to look back at strong dogs Id prefer a mutt. Have fun with your gsd, now you have an idea of what to expect, you have alot of work ahead to raise a good gsd. My neighborhood is full of crazy gsd's barking crazily in the backyard with no owner in sight- dont do that.
