My puppy Max is ten weeks old.I work from home so I'm at home all day. It seems like every second of the hour that my puppy is awake I am constantly playing with him. I bought him a Kong but he wasn't interested in it. I take him outside, we run around the house, I toss toys for him to get,he knows how to get a ball and drop it directly into my hand for a treat. Today I even hid treats under his toys so he could find them and he still seems like he is a ball of energy. What can i do to maybe stimulate his mind AND his body more???? I am 39 years old and before Max I considered myself physically fit. I would walk an hour and a half a fast pace five days a week. I am sooo tired with Max, now I go to sleep when he does at 9:00 at night!!! HEEEEELLLLLP!!!

He is a pup with perfectly normal GSD puppy behavior. He will settle down some what by about 6 months old but will still have plenty of puppy in him until at least a year. Have fun with him time goes by quick.

you don't need help. working from home gives
you a great chance to train and socialize. crate him when don't want to play with him or you can't watch him.

You're not doing anything wrong. I was so exhausted when Spirit first came home, I don't even remember the first couple of months
![]() Don't know what to tell you except brace yourself. For the forseeable future, you'll be playing with and chasing after your pup every second he's awake. You're his world now

Don't be afraid to put Max in his crate if you need a break. We use a crate at night but during the day I put our pup in an x-pen if I have something to do or just want to sit for a few minutes without worrying what she's getting into. She doesn't always like it, but she gets over it.

You're not doing anything wrong. Consider getting some puzzle toys. You can use part of your pups meals in them and give them to him to work while in a pen or crate while you take a break. It'll keep him busy while you put your feet up for a few minutes.

I have a 12 week old German shepherd/ husky mix we feel she is more on the shepherd side. She is a lil alligator we can't get her to stop chewing on everything, including our hand. We replace our own body parts with toys and tell her good girl, and bad girl when she's biting us. She gets plenty of exercise. I know puppy's chew but I just wanna know when I can see a decrease in the aligator behavior lol
