Default Max has liquid poop- what do I do?

Max is 13 weeks, he has been drinking much less than normal (he usually drank tons) yesterday and today his poop is often and liquid. What should I do?

Did you worm him at 12 weeks? Chicken and rice is good for this and so is Pepto-Bismol.

I would find out the 'why' first though. If you haven't wormed Max probably has a nasty worm or two screwing with his intestines.

Even if he was wormed... eggs have a way of hanging out and so worms can still be an issue. Vet with stool, or they can get stool from him there. If you do take stool... take some from each 'pile' so if it is worms or an infection they have a better shot at catching it.

Any puppy with diarrhea needs to have PARVO ruled out.
A vet can do that.

He was at vet last week and cleared of all worms. (He was dewormed before as well)
Obviously IF my vet were open I'd take him- so thanks for that. I was looking for ideas for NOW. I will try the chicken and rice- thank you.

Cut the chicken into small peices. You want it to flavor the rice so he'll eat it. It's not so much for the chicken itself.

I would with hold food for 24 hours and give his intestines time to relax. Does he have an appetite? And if his poo is liquid is there blood or mucus in it? If so I would go to the doctor first thing in the morning. Good luck

True- sorry- I'll try to explain more in my posts.
My parents were over the other day- I hope they didn't give him any table food.
His appetite is fine...he seems fine- if not a little nicer- lol
Just had 2 liquid poops today and 1 yesterday.
Will definately call my vet tomorrow- was just concerned because he's still a baby.
And his water intake is less than normal-but he's still drinking.
