Default I need information

I think my dog is too thin, because i searched on the internet 5 month GSD, 6 month GSD and their GSD's are so big and muscled, huge chest, i have German shepherd almost 6 months old her name is Hanna

PIC when she was 5 months

DOES SHE LOOK THIN? I feed her 3 times a day, 1 cup and a half every meal, = 4 and half cup a day.. she was vaccinated twice and i was so busy, so i have to vaccinate her again starting from 0.

I tried to train her and she only knows how to sit, she only poop outside. we have a spacious backyard with swimming pool, i exercise her daily but sometimes i get so busy and i cannot train her.

My problems are:
1. She eats poop ( WHICH IS SO ****ING DISGUSTING )

2. She's too thin for me? or is it normal for a young female GSD puppy?

3. She vomited like thrice? when i fed her 4 cups and half a day, when she vomited the 3rd time, i started feeding her twice a day then back to thrice a day (3 cups per day), was it maybe because of worms? i dewormed her then didn't vomit anymore.

4. sometimes she doesn't eat, she only eats if i exercise her or after she poops.

5. she hasn't been vaccinated completely and i'm still going to start at 0 shot, she had her shots twice but failed because of my schedules. it's gonna be the 3rd time that she's gonna start from 0 again

6. I am living with my siblings and parents and they all hate my dog and doesn't want to even touch or feed her, they just dont like dogs. and my older brother have a lot of dogs but most of them are champ lines, show lines and doesn't like working line german shepherds. I made money on the internet and i wanted GSD puppy, so i bought one and named her hanna. IS IT BAD FOR ME TO PET A GERMAN SHEPHERD BECAUSE OF THAT?

7. I go to school for 7 hours, i spent time with my dog 30 - 40 minutes morning, 1 hour evening, is it alright or i need more time for my puppy.

8. When she gets something on her mouth like a bone, she tries to run away from me, when i get closer she runs again but she comes back after a few seconds? why? i always give her reward for doing the sit, and poo in the right place, but sometimes i get mad when she's avoiding me and running away from me

GSDs usually do have big chests but it takes time for the chest to drop and develop. At 6 months I'm not sure but I don't think the chest is completely developed yet and she likely has a lot more growing to do c:

It depends on what food you feed and how many cups she should get plus the amount of exercise she gets. I would also definitely get her vaccinated ASAP.

This is not unnatural for a dog and yes while it is quiet disgusting, you have to catch her in the act of doing it. When she does it in front of you, stop her. Adding pineapple to her diet will also prevent her from eating her own poop. There is also a power sold on Amazon that works in a similar way.

I thought my pup was thin for a very long time. She does seem a bit thin but she's only 6 months and still has growing to do. Give her some time.

From what I know worms don't cause vomiting? If she has worms she should be hungry all the time and won't gain weight. If she continues to not eat and vomit I'd take her to the vet immediately. She may have a blockage or some other problem.

Do you free feed her? I wouldn't do that. Is she on a schedule to eat? Feed her at the same time every day. Leave the food out for about 15-20 minutes. If she doesn't eat, take the food away. Don't feed her until her second scheduled meal time. This way she knows, it's eat or wait it out till the next meal time...

Please get her vaccinated. I'm a fan of on time vaccinations and not overdoing vaccinations (getting them done on time so you don't have to start from 0 again).

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If it were me and I was in your situation, living with family, I would've consulted with family before getting a puppy. It might be an uphill climb for you to get them to like your puppy. You'll have to take responsibility and teach your pup manners so that your family will accept her. If a family already doesn't like the pup, a naughty untrained dog isn't something they'll learn to love...

Many people work full time and have multiple dogs. I think your schedule is fine for exercising but you also need to fit time in for training.

Hope this helps a bit...I'm no expert by any means and I hope others will chime in for you! Best of luck!

Sorry I missed this question. I wouldn't chase your pup when she has something in her mouth; she thinks it's a game. It's like she's teasing you to continue chasing her.

Don't get mad at her for running away. As I said, she thinks it's a game. Try calling her to you while you stay in one spot, and rewarding her for coming to you. This is called recall training. It's an important part of a learning process for a puppy especially at the age your pup is at. Google recall or look it up on this forum. There are many ways of teaching it.

Hard to tell on the internet, but your pup doesn't look too thin to me. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, and even see the last rib or two. Skinny is better with these pups. If this is the THIRD time you're starting from zero on the vaccines, I wouldn't allow another start from zero. Vaccination is good. Too much vaccination is bad. I think you need to enroll in a puppy class. This will teach you lots of things for training. You may need to up the exercise and def. the mental stimulation. I'd cut feeds down to twice a day, and start monitoring her weight. What has the vet said about her weight?

You have GOT to make the time to work with her each and every day. It doesn't take more than 5-15 minutes to have a training session, and some of this can be incorporated into her walks. If you don't have the time to do the things with her that she needs to be a happy, healthy dog, then maybe you need to think about whether you're able to meet her needs in your current situation. If the family doesn't like her, she's going to feel that too.

Default I need information

I have a 9month female from working lines, she was awfully skinny at that age, and just as she would seem to put some weight on she would grow again and get that lanky look. I tried feeding 2 times a day but she wouldn't eat. So now we do 3hours of exercise a day, which is broken up for morning and arvo and then she gets one big feed of an afternoon and eats the lot. She has been to the vet for a checkup and is perfectly healthy. I also took her off puppy biscuits and put her on high quality biscuits for working dogs with more fat content than the puppy ones, and she is now a really good weight. As well as I feed raw.
I agree with all that Jag said, if you cannot give the puppy everything it needs to be 100% happy healthy, then perhaps you might need to have a think about it, perhaps it just isn't the right time for you, especially if your family doesn't want anything to do with her, it will make it very hard.

if your puppy has a bone and is running away from you DON"T chase - that will just make her think you're playing a fun game.
Have a treat or a toy that she likes and "trade" the treat or toy for the bone you want to take away from her.

How much does your dog weigh?
She doesn't look too skinny in that picture but she has a lot of 'filling out" to do.
What food are you feeding her? By your Video it looks like you're in the Philippines so I'm not sure what brands are available there?
It's difficult if your parents don't like the puppy
