I've gotten two at 7 weeks and some days. Just worked out better that way for travel and meeting up with the breeder. I had no problems with either puppy.

I've gotten two of my pups at that age...as Lies posted, it was the timing of having more time to spend when they arrived and picking up was more convenient(weekend and vacation time).
Both pups settled fine, though my male was a breeze to transition to my home because his breeder already acclimated him to a crate and he was almost housebroken as well!

I got Lisl at 7 weeks. It was a matter of transport. It was no big deal.
