Feeding your pup x3 a day...

My pup Adele is now 6 months, and her monster appetite is completely gone;
when I put food down for her, she 'may' walk up to take a bite then she'll go off and goof around and after 10 minutes same thing. I've come to the conclussion that I'm just going to have to leave food down so she can eat, when she wants too.
...So much for regular pooping schedules... :/

You can still keep a schedule. Leave it down for 10 minutes then put it up until the next meal

She'll learn quickly to eat while it's down :)

My pup will only eat in his crate- where he isn't distracted.

Agreed ^ meal time is meal time. If she picks at it then walks away, meals over. I only feed my pup twice a day. She used to eat a little then walk away and try to go back later. Once she realized how far away dinner was she stayed and ate.

You can drop down feelings to twice a day anytime around 6 months. This will prob help with the less interest in food.

I came in the same rules as others and really how amazing it works.. 15 minutes meal time, finished or not yet finished I have to take it away.. Now she used too.. Every time I put down a meal.. She finished it right on time.. :)

Maybe she's telling you she's ready for 2 meals a day rather than 3. Dena & Keefer were on 2 meals at 9 weeks old when I got them, although they got lots of training treats in addition to regular meals. Halo was on 3 meals a day for a bit longer, but she was down to 2 meals well before 6 months old.

If this keeps up for the next week of two, I feed her twice a day; plus it'll be less work
at lunch when I visit her. Plus she'll end up getting longer walks. :)
