Our Walk This Morning
 

We started out walking around the block and then up the street to make sure Lisl had gone potty.

We then walked to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and the ladies there allowed Lisl in the building and even had a treat for her at the counter.

All the ladies in the place ooohed and aaahed over Lisl and fawed over her like she was theirs. There must have been about four ladies on my side of the counter. When I picked her up about 6 pharmacy techs rushed to the counter to see her and pet her.

On the way out we passed the mailman coming in and I told Lisl they don't taste as good as UPS guys. :eek:

After that visit, we stopped by the local body shop where I saw the Hummer that stopped us last week. Sure enough, that girl worked there and is the owners wife. I know the owner but had never met his wife.

She was crazy about her. They have a Lab and a Yorkshire Terrier, but she's always wanted a GSD. The whole crew at the body shop loved her.

Then it was eight blocks home. She's sleeping at my feet now. I wore her out for a couple of hours, but I know she's just recharging her batteries now.

wow, nice walk, by me i would be arrested for bringing a dog into the pharmacy.

That sounds like the walks my daughter takes with Nita. She comes home and tells me each of the people that comment on Nita's looks and wonderful temperment. It's a great feeling isn't it :)
