Default 8 month old pup getting tired on walks

These two weeks kai's been getting very tired on walks. After 5 mins hes panting allot. Also he walks like hes half dead or half asleep (if you get what i mean) like hes drooping along.

He gets plenty of water and i make sure he gets water before walks. Before walks he isnt knackerd (ie we dont play with him before walks so he has no reason to be tired itms)

other then that^ he is normal, eating fine, still playing fine running around in the garden fine.

I dont want to walk him when hes like this because i feel im over doing it. about 3 weeks ago i could take him for a 3 mile walk and he'll be fine with it, trotting along. Now i cant take him for 1/2 a mile with out him looking droopy and knackard and panting.

Is this the weather or what?

like i said i dont want to over do it

any help?

In order to make yourself feel better, take him to the vet for a FULL physical and blood work and explain to the vet your worries. It might be the weather, but maybe not. Mine can go forever in hot or cold weather.

I doubt it's the weather. If you are seeing a dramatic change in energy level and nothing else has changed, I'd get him checked out at the vet.
