Potty training

Hello, new to the site but love the info on the threads!
My wife and I have a 4.5yr old female long coat who we got when she was 11 weeks. We trained her to sit at the front door when she had to go #1 or #2 in matter of 2 days.
We recently added a 8wk old male long coat to the pack and everything is going great except he pees all the time and inside the house a lot!! I will take him out and then 10 min later find him peeing on the carpet.

Is this normal for the little guy to not pick up on "potty outside" training? Is he just too young, and will pick it up in time? I guess we are comparing him to our other Shep who learned it really quick at 11wks.

Any insight would be great!! Thanks

Different dogs learn at different paces. If he's still going in the house then you need to take him out more often. If he's going after 10 minutes in the house then you should be going out every 10 minutes, not 15 minutes, etc.
