Dress warm - be patient - let pup sniff - then take him for a little walk - the exercise should do it.

I've had the pleasure of training my last two pups in the winter. Take the pup out on a leash, once the pup goes potty give lots of praise and reward. I don't see a problem with the pup playing afterwards, but then you have to remember that after they play they have to go. Sadly, during the potty training process its all business...once the potty training is done..there is plenty of time for play..

He is doing so well- I was at fault for not taking him out much in the snow- and he had an accident. But overall he is going to the door to go potty! He goes potty 90% of the time I take him out.

When the snow is really deep, I have to shovel my driveway gates so I can open them, that is usually where everyone goes potty.

Lisl potties first then we play.

She likes the snow, but she also knows what she's out there for first.

And yes, dress warmly. I dress warm enough that I don't even know it's cold outside.

I clean the area where my two go, and theres no problems. Maybe try that.Shovel or use a snowblower and clean where your pup is used to go potty at. I bet you will see a world of difference.
