Younger brother vs Kai..

My brother is 12. Kai is now 7 months. Dont know what Kai's problem is but he gets over excited with my brother(kian). Im not sure if this is aggression or just excited? problem is as follows

when we wake up/come home kai gets excited to see us. With me and dad he jumps on us, we correct him and then he just greets us normally. With my brother he jumps on him, correcting him doesnt work, he nips him and barks if he cant get to my brother. With us, this greeting lasts about a minute. With my brother it lasts about 5-10 minutes.

He also does 'excited pee' when he greets us

Is this agresstion or does kai get overly happy when he see's my brother?

Does your brother play with Kai? It sounds to me like he's trying to get your brother engaged with him... not aggression. However, no way to be sure without seeing it. Does Kai go to any classes or a trainer? It would be helpful to see the behavior in person. Is your brother afraid of Kai? How does he react when Kai greets him this way?

Yes he does play with him, same amount i do. Kai does not go to a trainer. Here in the uk its harder to find a trainer then elsewhere. My brother is not afraid of kai and when kai does greet him he knows to turn his back to kai and ignore. Kai doesnt respond to this. I also distract kai but this doesnt work

Sounds like your brother is being viewed as a litter mate and not someone who should be respected or listened to. If you haven't tried this already, I'd have your brother run through some of the training that you do with Kai. Have your brother feed some meals. It still doesn't sound like aggression to me, but more of a lack of respect. Having your brother walk the dog may help, also. There's a sticky here somewhere about leadership. It should have some exercises that could benefit your brother in asserting a leadership position over Kai, which would help to lessen the response you're seeing and the lack of following directions where he's concerned.
