Raw natural bones, like knuckle bones or femur bones, also bully sticks and cow trachea. Stay away from rawhides!

It's not a bone, but my dogs favorite treat/chewy is the everlasting treat ball he is an amazing chewer and there's not one hole in the ball and the treat is hard, so takes awhile to get it out, put it in upside down for more of a challenge.

I agree with raw knuckle and marrow bones. I get mine from a local butcher super cheap and freeze them. They last for a few hours and the dogs LOVE it
I also use deer antlers |
So you can give them to them for a few hours them put in the freezer and give it back to the frozen? I want to try raw bones with him.

Yes, though two times are my personal max then they get thrown out. You can restuff the marrow bones with peanut butter, kibble, and other treats once they finish the marrow

The antler is Grim's favorite. I also always have nylabones laying around. My pug is still a big chewer for some reason. Oh, we also use bully sticks, but Grim has been swallowing them when they get smaller, so I only give them when I can monitor him. They're also expensive! Rawhides are a definite no-no.

femur bones, elk antlers. i never give my dogs rawhide.
("rollin, rollin, rollin, keep them doggies rollin, rawhide". this has absolutely nothing to do with rawhide and dogs.) |
