Looks like a Sable to me. It's hard to tell what their shade will be like. They also change a lot (at least Rocco did). Gotta love those ears!! Super cute.

Looks sable to me right now. Although I had a female sable turn to a black and tan saddle back! After I already registered her! Ugh!

Sable vs. black and tan are genetically different so one can't "turn into" the other, they are born that way. Some sables are a lot lighter and are "patterned" but are still sable. For example this dog has been mistaken for a black and tan but she is a patterned sable (both parents are sable).
