Default Wash a puppy?

Can I wash Zack? He's a bit smelly and I have dog shampoo, dog blankets etc. Can I wash him with warm water? And should I use the blow dryer afterwards?

Yes, use warm water. If it's to hot or cold for you, it's probably to hot and cold for him. I think you need to get him used to the blow dryer before using it on him. Put it on low with cool air and let him check it out. When he does, treat him. It will desensitize him to it.

Yes you can wash him in warm water. My dogs like it warm but not as warm as I'd like it (if they start panting heavily it's too warm).

No don't use a hair dryer, that is way too hot. Dog dryers blow room-temperature air at high velocity and this pushes the water out of the coat. A human's hair dryer is quite hot and the dog don't be able to tell you if he's getting burned. If you don't have a dog dryer I would just towel dry.

I use a human hair dryer on Jax all the time on the Cool setting. That will not burn a dog.

We have settings on our dryer, it can be cold, normal or hot and it can blow really strongly or weakly
