Default First trip to the ocean and meeting new people!

So we took Ollie for his first beach trip today! He wasn't particularly thrilled with the water aspect... Actually he wasn't phased by any of it, he was just curious especially of other dogs and the pelicans flying overhead. At this particular beach you have to walk over a bunch of small smooth rocks to get to the beach and he went over them like a champ!

He also met a little boy and two other kids at the pet store and he loved them! Not with quite the same exuberance as the doodle but he did well. He was also petted by several adults and I wish I had a dime for every awwww I heard.

Not the best video and I totally forgot to take a good picture of him, oh well next time! Oh and this particular beach the dogs are not allowed off leash so that's why my husbands using the long lead, this is the only place we use it and its kept short unless there's no one else nearby even though Sam loves everybody.

You make the BEST freakin videos!! What song is that you put to it?? Dogs are adorable!! I love that 'check' of the pup that Sam did. I am sooo jealous! I can't wait to move up north so I have water to take the dogs to! (Won't be the ocean, but it's still beach and water!) I feel like there's little to nothing to take them to around here. I think it's the very best thing for a GSD to be exposed to all of that.

Thanks everyone! I love making videos like this, my channel is full of videos like this of my doggies. I won't ask if that's pathetic.

They are good buddies except when it comes to toys, if the puppy gets a toy we have to make sure Sam has one too. He's a resource guarder so we have to be careful, though my husband and I devised a clever to play with them using the toys that keeps Sam happy.

Thanks! I wish you guys luck on finding a place, I know how difficult that can be with critters!

And the guy singing is Justin James, he kind of reminds me of a beachy John Mayor, lol.
