Default Eating

Why would my puppy go around her bowl and not just eat. She is driving me nuts. Is it because she is excited to see me? I don't want her to not eat because I am in the room, and she also lays down to eat...is that ok for her to do that?

It is fine for het to last down to eat. Most of the GSDs I've had lay down when they eat.

As far as the rest of your question, I don't understand what you are aking.

Exactly what does she do when you feed her?

Always put the food bowl down for 20 minutes, then pick up if your dog for whatever reason doesn't finish the meal. For puppies that too bond to the owner, I found that if I put the bowl down and sit there quietly, they somehow feel more relax and enjoy their meal. That way also give me some time observing the way my dogs eat.
