Exact same thing for me too. Also, would have attempted to find a puppy kindergarten that wasn't 90% puppy playtime.

Also I won't get a dog from a BYB again. I originally didn't want to but DH talked me into it and after I saw the puppies I had a hard time saying no. They weren't just cranking out pups for money they were the people who say 'We just want them to have one litter! To experience parenthood!'
