At what age did your boy start lifting his leg? Just curious because my boy is about 6months old and still has not lifted his leg. Is this something you have to tech them? Or will he just figure it out as he gets a little older?

Sorry I have to laugh....many people come on here wondering if they have to teach their males to lift....personally I just want to see a tutorial of how that would go
![]() Some male dogs never do, some do on their own timetable. I think a lot of things can effect this, hormones, neutering, being around other males, etc.....but I'm no expert I have 2 males one is almost 10 and one is 10 months....I have seen the 10 yr old maybe lift his leg twice in 10 years and the 10 month old never. It personally doesn't bother me if they never do.

Mine didn't until he was almost 2 years old. It was a tree that finally got him to lift his leg. I would have been fine if he never did.

Ha! Guess who peed on my husbands new pick up truck tires within minutes of it being parked in the driveway??
My husband takes him for plenty of rides in his truck (he loves it, think because he sits up high) and says he now appreciates the truck & will no longer pee on the tires
