I have posted more then a few times about my little GSD girl, Jasira. I have a question, is it normal for her to attack her food like it's her last meal? She is coming up on 7 months old on the 25th. I feed her twice a day. ( what the dog food bag recommends for her weight.) I feed her a very high end dog food, Natures Balance Ultra. I also give her a very good dog supplement. Is it normal for her to act like that? Anyone watching would swear I'm starving her even though she's not a tiny bit skinny ( or to fat).

Yep, Josh is a chow-hound too, he"s gone after every meal he's had since he was 8 weeks old like it was his last.

I fostered a Labradoodle that was like that. Because he inhaled his food so fast, he also swallowed a lot of air and therefore had a lot of gas. I got him one of those slow feeder bowls and that helped a lot. Much less gas
