hi guys,
i have my gsd puppy for 4 weeks now, and he's 13 weeks old (33 lb). last night i gave him bully stick for first time, and seems like he likes it. But, this morning he suddnely start smelling so bad, and i dont understand where this odor is comin from. i checked his crate to see if he had any accident but he didn't. i also realized that for first time this morning he started eating his own poop. does this anything has to do with bullystick that i gave him? any advise on keeping him smelling better (any spray, powder, etc)? i am taking him to vet tomm for bath and grooming. i am also throwing away all pillows and bed accessories and buying new ones. any help or advise is appreciated. |

Brush his teeth. He might have a bit of the bully stick stuck between his teeth.
Pick up poop as soon as he goes. Puppies at that age are starting to lose teeth which means their permanent teeth are pushing up, destroying the root tissue of the puppy teeth, so you're going to smell some yuk in there, but brushing will help more than sprays, etc.
