I need some more ideas about some Innovative puppy games (mine is 6 months old) to do indoors when it has been raining a lot outside. I play ball as much as I can indoors, fill kongs, fill thick socks with crunchy sounding material and tie it off for a new toy, have bully sticks, smear peanut butter inside heavily crevased containers, scatter loose kibble around for her to scavenge for and that's all I can think of, besides filling the bathrub with a few inches of water and let her "dig" in there ( she loves it).
Anyone have anymore ideas? We have an elderly GSD also but he needs a break from her and then she turns to me to entertain her.

There was this show called "Me or The Dog" on Animal Planet and one toy that comes to mind is a ball that you put treats in. When the dog rolls the ball, treats come out of the little holes. That may be a toy you want to look into.

We train! I am training for several sports but I also train tricks - it exhausts my puppy and my young dog and they are content to just hang out afterwards. It's my favorite way to expend extra energy
