Default Personality Tests

My breeder handed me a personality "test" for the puppy that was done by a tester. I'm just not sure what the results mean. She did explain to me that this was just a general idea of the puppy's personality and that things could change with training and as they develop more. Some of the things already have changed, some are still the same.

The test had 20 questions, each that measured different things.

These were the results:
Tester Rates Overall Social Dominance /Confidence Towards People: Mild Mannered.
Test Rates Overall Attentiveness: Puppy was focused on tester's face.
Physical Structure: Good.

Any help?

Those all sound good to me. At what age would that test be given? And is it available somewhere? I wonder how mine would do.

At about 7 weeks. As far as my knowledge goes, you can get a personality/temperament test done at certain training facilities. I know a place locally that does them. Maybe you could look into that for your dogs too locally

I didn't see the name of the test on the top unfortunately.

It matters who is performing the "tests" and where. It matters a lot. Could the breeder not do this?

Do you think it might be this one?

Sounds to me it's a result from Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test (PAT), should be taken at 07 week old and by strange tester. Further test can be a PAWS Working Dog Evaluation to help identify and evaluate the main components of good "working" temperaments.

Thanks gsd_newbie, I'll ask the trainer about that test.

His results were mostly 2s and 3s.

There were more 2s than 3s. The test they gave me was slightly altered (was missing one question and had 2-3 added questions). The answers were, on occasion, worded differently to account for more specific responses.

So I have a higher energy puppy.
