I was looking at Knuckles' teeth today because I am impatient about those darn canines falling out and the non-pointy ones coming in
when I noticed that next to one of his adult teeth on the top (he has adult teeth top & bottom in front) there was what looked like a bone sticking out of the gum line, right next to the tooth. I move try to move it and realize that I can actually move it around under his gumline! I watch his eyes and he squints so I can tell it hurts... and I know that he hasn't had any bones. I have my hubby help me because I don't have three hands and Knuckles wasn't cooperating, he was actually fighting me over the whole ordeal... he grabbed it and it slid out from his gumline like butter. No blood on the root, nothing. That tooth must have been sitting in there for awhile because his teeth have been in for awhile. I rubbed the spot where it was at and Knuckles just sat there and let me do it... even his muscles relaxed after it came out! We both got a big sloppy kiss afterward!
