my poor Cain

Cain is now 8 months and he is just now recovering from pano....I was feeding hum diamond natural but the vet said he was growing to fast therefore he was having growth pains and was causing him to limp....I took Cain from a family member when he was a puppy and seems he was getting the love and necessities he needed....both his parents are brown and black but he came out white.....I honestly don't kno if he was an inbred or not I just took him in because I felt it was the right thing to do.....Could that be a reason of him having growth pains??
