Hi everyone!
Long time since I've been back and visited the forum. I wanted to look something up about Rocket and remembered I'd posted the info here somewhere, so here I am, down memory lane.
Rocket will be 6 years old this June. He is still a fantastic dog; he has matured so nicely. He still runs, hikes and backpacks constantly with me. He is now the proud servant to two indoor black cats, whom rule him, but don't feel sorry for him: he occasionally good-naturedly pins them with a giant paw and shows them the real meaning of a bath hee hee. He was diagnosed with Pannus last August, it is nicely under control with eye ointments and Rex Specs. He now eats raw food and his health is excellent. He still teaches his bite prevention classes at elementary schools in Spokane, and is registered as a continuing education dog with my SAR team for the county. He is living life pretty dang large, given the number of waves, yells from school buses, and parents who approach me at my job, with kids tugging on their arm, and red-facedly ask, "Excuse me, but my child says you're Rocket's mom and wants to know how he is."
Hope you are all well, say hi!
