So incredibly sad and senseless. Reminds me very strongly of my dad's stories of dogs being used during Vietnam. He worked w GSDS when he served during Vietnam. His stories (the few he will share) are heartbreaking. They left SO many dogs there that had served their country and saved countless lives simply bc they believed they wouldn't be able to integrate back into 'civilian' life. Even if that was the case, they were soldiers...and deserved a better end than they got. No Man Left Behind apparently doesn't apply here...
And you know .. most likely those were not BYB dogs!! I wonder how the Breeders, and Brokers they sourced those dogs through think about this?? Just saying.
these dogs may have been killed to punish the handlers who themselves were being abused. There are a few different reporters covering this story. It is evil on so many levels. I don't think a simple petition is going to do much, though.
Signed. I did read the handlers were treated badly as well as these incredible dogs. The media is a great thing making people aware of what is. This is a disgrace these people should not get away for what they have done. Im sure there are more stories like this that we have not or soon will here about. I can understand why Mother Nature goes on a rampage. I pray the handlers and the dogs that are still living get help now.
I can't can the image out of my head. Those brave dogs -now they are in a better place. RIP you brave warriors and for all the brave handlers I pray you find safety.
