Default Anyone watch Kommissar Rex on MyGermanTV?

If any of the members have DiSH Network, you can subscribe to the German channel package that includes five German language channels and one Russian movie channel. Not sure why that was included.

Anyhow, on MyGermanTV there is a show called Kommissar Rex about a Kriminal Polizei division that uses a GSD called Rex in the show. It's an Austrian produced show that is in syndicated reruns now, but still a bit interesting to watch the dog perform.

German language with no subtitles, like the rest of the DiSH pack. Brush up on your Deutsch.

Yes it was on in Germany in the 1990s, I have them on VHS, that's how old they are. I used to watch it when we lived there. I even have the Kommisar Rex stuffed dog. Rex looks like a German showline dog, not a working dog.

I didn't know Dish has German channels. I'll have to tell my German husband.

Yes, it ran until 2004. Rex definitely looks show-line rather than working-line.

Not a bad show. Reminds me of the detective shows on US network television in the late '80's.
