Help me determine mix

We rescued a 8 month old female GSD this week, and the shelter is adamant she's a pure breed. She's looks like a pure as far as her features and coat, is about 40 lbs now, moves like a gazelle, and has that wonderful and kind GSD disposition, even after having experienced the pound.

It's the beige / creme color I've never seen a pure GSD with before.

I've sat and looked through 100s of Google images, but can't determine her mix.

Can anyone give me a qualified guess? Belgian Malinois maybe?

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't say she's a mix. Just looks like fawn coloring to me :)

I saw some like that years ago purebred came out of solid white female" black and silver male! In the 70 s. Bill:)

Stahl my boy!

I think she is pure as well. We had a female GSD, purchased from a breeder, (years ago) whose coat went thru some color changes, and ended up being very close to your girls color. Ours had a little black ticking in a few areas, however, but otherwise, she was a fawn color. So, just enjoy her!

That looks like a GSD face to me. She's pretty!

I agree with Zlata, she looks like a fawn GSD to me as well.
Very pretty girl. :)

She is a very pretty fawn GSD IMHO.

I hadn't seen a fawn color before joining this site. I love the coloration.

That is a GSD in my opinion.
