I like the pouch. Would you be able to tell me where you were able to get it from? I ordered 2 for those medium molle pouches to hold water bottles, but I'd like something larger.

Amazon.com : Condor H2O Pouch (A-Tacs, 10 x 4Dia-Inch) : Tactical Bag Accessories : Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com : Condor H2O Pouch (A-Tacs, 10 x 4Dia-Inch) : Tactical Bag Accessories : Sports & Outdoors

There are definitely bigger pouches out there, amazon had plenty to choose from. I was just bored of looking and 1clicked this one. It has a couple straps that work well with the molle and lets it ride top middle to balance the weight if that's all you want him to carry. I chose the average size since water gets a pretty heavy.

Very neat. I was pleasantly surprised by how tough the harness's mesh felt. I was worried that it would be jersey mesh.

I expected good stuff after reading others' comments on Ray Allen stuff. I am curious how Nancy thinks her harness holds up after wet lake work. If the harness even gets wet lol

It gets wet. Why wouldn't it? I got the plastic cobra buckles. Not as high rated as the metal but better for wet applications.

Are the straps nylon? We've had nylon repaired and one of our lola prong collars lengthened out to fit over Rangers big fat head. Anyplace with a commercial sewing machine could alter it easily, quickly and on the cheap. We used a motorcycle leather shop the first time and found a doggy clothing store closer by the next.

Oh I was only being sarcastic
Aren't the cobras the metal fancy ones? I've got the plastic as well.

Chestplate Close up (has velcro for patches and whatnot):

Cobra Buckles (They face opposite directions):

Harness and pouches (2 v-rings):

2 medium molle pouches and a mesh drying bag for when I full up his collapsable water bowl. Each pouch can fit your average 500ml plastic water bottle. I'm hoping I can sit an aluminum one in each.

Cobra makes a plastic one as well rated at 500lbs. There is no rating on fastex though informally people "claim" around 300 but I have broken plenty of fastex buckles. No plans for granny to go rappelling but if I have to lift the dog with it, it would be in a place I would not want to drop him.

Also, semi-stupid question. In the picture I posted of the cobra buckles, the nylon strap loops through that rectangular opening. In the middle of that opening is this sliding metal bar on the male end. Did I connect the nylon straps properly to the cobra buckle?
