3 GSD's?

Does anyone have 3 GSD's? Do they All get along? We have 2- a 2 year old and a 9 month old and we are looking to adopt a 13 week old. But we're afraid that they won't all get along considering they're all males. We're trying to arrange a meet up with the new pup and our 2...but I'm looking for some advice, tips, etc..from ppl that have been there.

Thanks!

I have 3 but they are spaced a lot further apart age wise. A 13 week old when you are still training a 9 month old is going to be a lot of work.

I have 3 males-2 WL one SL and one SL female- 11 months, 2.5 years, 3.5 years and 8 years female. They are not crated except the pup at night- they are free all day in the backyard and in the house. I am the pack leader for sure.
Some times there is growling at each other with the males but it is usually over a toy or stick. My 2 WLs are drivey which adds to intensity.
There is a big difference in work 2 vs 3 never mind 4- I am retired but they tie me down- no vacations!!!

Also be prepared for bigger vet bills and food costs- the probability of health issues goes up geometrically with more dogs especially this breed.

We have 3, but with 2-almost 4 year old SL(?) females and a 1.5 year old WL Czech male, They all get along pretty well. We keep the male crated when we are at work, otherwise they free roam about the house.

7 yr. old male, 6.5 yr old female, 16 mth. old female. So far so good as far as them all getting along.
The third was a big adjustment for me. I had to be careful not to let the two older dogs be my babysitter, and some days that sounded a whole lot better than putting in the time so she would bond to me more than the dogs. More muddy paws, higher food costs, an extra trip to the vet each year...mass chaos in the kitchen when the three of them decide to rough house while I'm cooking. ;)
I wouldn't do it differently but honestly...having two was easier.

They all have free roam of the house during the day. Pup is crated if I have to go out and at night. There's no reason why she can't be left out of the crate except it gives me piece of mind to know a fight isn't going to break out while I'm not around. (they don't fight but there can always be a first time)

at one point I had 3 males and a female..No issues even tho one male was intact until almost 3 years old..age difference, well the older two were 4 years apart, the younger two were almost 2 years apart.

Up until a few months ago I had 3, 1 male and 2 females, the two aussies were/are 13/14 and my gsd is 5.

I will say this, and I"m sticking to it, I will NEVER get dogs close in age again, it's to devastating to 'lose' them so close together as they age.

We have had no problems with 3 or more at a time, just takes 3 times the work, but you get 3 times the fun and enjoyment, ENJOY!!!! BOB

I agree with this.

OP you will have 3 dogs under the age of 3 years old. They will all be seniors at the same time and that can be extremely expensive not to mention that there is a much greater risk that you could possibly lose all of them within months of each other.

JMO but I think you should wait until your youngest is 2 years old before bringing in another puppy. Let your current dogs mature, train them, bond with them and then add a puppy in a year or 2.

I have three GSDs. All rescues. Lucky is we assume about 12 and Chevy and Thunder who have been with us a year are 11.Weve had three dogs on two other occasions. It always felt like two together and one out. Lucky gets along with the girls one on one . The girls are litter mates so they are bonded. All three of mine have dog aggression issues but have formed an alliance of sorts.
Three seniors is intense when it comes to vet bills ,supplements all the senior stuff.
