Default Can you decode (understand) dog barks?

NOVA | The Meaning of Dog Barks

This link has some pictures of dogs and what the meaning is behind the picture, and than it plays a barking sound of a dog that was in that situation, and you are to guess what it means. I got most of them right. Some of them were a little on the fence for me. But it is still interesting.

How many did you guys all get right?

I found this from a documentary called "Dogs Decoded" its a good documentary i also suggest you watch it, its pretty short.

What do you guys think of the documentary?

Enjoy!

I have read quiet a bit about dog barks/whining. I got curious after noticing how many different pitches my boy uses for different things. It all started with his "boofing" which is suppose to mean "hello, is someone there?", lol. He also uses the "giddy whine bark" when he meets dogs he really likes to play with.
