You need to find out from the seller what the neck and girth measurements are and measure your dog.

It's pretty but I wouldn't use it for backpacking.

I wouldn't. See the picture with the golden wearing it? It's got very little weight in it but it's shifting to the side. I have an older outward hound backpack that Otto wears sometimes. If it's not evenly balanced with weight, it slips. Pretty much useless for carrying anything other than 2 litre bottles for his endurance training...

you have to build your dog up slowly to carry a pack.
find out the proper amount of weight a dog can carry.

It was just to give her a job when she is out walking like carrying water or a ball.

Can someone recommend something for me? I am really under the weather atm and just need to keep the dog happy and energy levels under control.

The reason I was going to get that one is because it's cheap. I don't want to spend much incase she doesn't take to having that job....
