Default what type of food do you give your gsd

what type of food do you feed your dog. my dog eats retriever and i heard if thier coat isnt shiney and soft then its the food. i put a little bit of oil in her food and she gets fish twice a week but her coat is really not that soft even when i brush it. any ideas

My dad had a german shepherd and he wanted the nice shiny coat and he would mix cooking grease in her food. and it made her coat shiny. A very, very little bit of grease not much at all.

I feed both of mine Diamond, and their coats are very soft and shiny.

I feed mine Merrick grain free, both have nice healthy coats.

Yes!! Niko ate the same food plus he got raw mixed in and everyone always commented on how soft he was.

I have mine back on Diamond Naturals and they get sardines with it every week.

We feed Victor with fish once a week and raw on the weekends. They get Nupro Silver joint supplement as well as flaxseed oil and coconut oil. Everyone always comments on how super soft they are.
