Your GSDs and water

Do your German Shepherds like to play in the water?
Both Harley and Varick LOVE it. Harley likes to splash around in the shallow end, while Varick likes to actually swim.

Kaleb loves water. We have a difficult time keeping him out of the pool.

Otto LOVES water! He likes to play in the hose when I water the horses, and he leaps into the lake for a swim every chance he gets. Baths, not so much.

I have no experience with my puppy and swimming yet, but she certainly loves to bury her head in her water bowl! And her paws! Lol

Ziva loves to play in the water. Or in this case...mud puddles .
She is afraid to swim. Hoping to teach her this coming summer.

Lola and Harry swim in our pool during summer as sometimes it is so hot that this is the only exercise they get. They are both very good swimmers.

if your GSD is eating and eating and eating and losing weight - please consider testing for EPI.

Tessa used to only go in shoulder deep. We threw her favorite toy far enough that she had to swim for it. That's all it took.
