He looks pure, if not he has a very high percentage of GSD mix in him. The only thing that throws me off is the white on the chest. Maybe one of his parents was a GSD mix and the other a full GSD. Maybe get some more professional opinions from different vets.

I previously had 2 American bred coated GSD's both pedigreed with a small amount of white on the chest....it is not uncommon.....along with some white hairs on toes.

Your new pup looks like you are in for some wonderful times with your new friend. Enjoy !!!

a white streak on the chest means nothing as far as being a purebred GSD
looks like a sturdy healthy pup -- strong bone , good feet , good pasterns , good muscle --- good luck!!

thanks guys its good to hear...
i love gsd dont know why... i always wanted a gsd now i got one at 24y age...
in my place vet do politics.. they have settings with breeders even if we buy street dog from them they says this is pure breed... and if we buy from some other place then they say this is not pure.. and almost every vet is like this in our place that's why i m not trusting vets.. but they sure had put some doubt in my head..
anyway thanks guys for clearing my doubts..
