How about some comments made that are funny about us and our dogs

a friend of mine said "you and your dog are crazy. you're crazy
for training him like that and he's crazy for learning". my friend
thinks it's crazy how well trained Loki is.

"you drive your dog to go to the bathroom". followed by
much laughter. i told a friend of mine i drive my dog
to his bathroom spot and play area. he thought it was funny
driving a dog to go to a place to go to the bathroom. i don't
drive him there all of the time but i do it a lot.

"that's crazy". followed by laughter. a friend of mine saw
my dog go to the mailman to get the mail.

"i can't get my children to do that". my dog was in a
down/stay in front of a store. when i came out a stranger
told me he can't get his kids to do that. what he meant
was he can't get is children to stay in one place. i couldn't
get my children to stay in one place. lol.

i was walking in the woods. we were getting close to a lady
and her daughter. as we got close the lady said "does he bite"?
before i could say anything the little girl screams, grabs her
mother and stands behind her and says "yes mom, he bites, he's
a child killer". the girl an i start laughing. her mother says, "i guess
he wouldn't be out here if he bites".

one of my neighbors isn't sure about Loki. she'll call him to
her and when he goes towards her she'll turn her back to
him and clinch her fist to her chest. i'm not sure why she calls
him and i'm not sure why i let him go to her. lol.

Last year when we brought Ranger home, our neighbor talking to us over the fence, asked if we are paranoid or something as to why we would want another gsd.

My neighbors think I love my dog too much LOL Last year in my 2 door wrangler, I took the back seat out and put a nice soft blanket down. Right behind the front seats, I put a wire cage barrier and installed a fan on it. I installed a tie down with a carabiner for his leash. All I can say is with the AC vents aimed directly at the fan in the center, Jonas Loved sitting back there. It was cooler in the back then it was in the front. This September I traded my 2 door in and Ordered a 4 door. "yep pretty much for Jonas" Wow what a difference! My neighbor even thinks I am more nuts now. The seats fold down and there is so much more room. He just lays back there and enjoys the ride now. BTW Doggiedad I love the name of your German Shepherd. Loki rocks!

Sometimes Cafall takes his sweet time finding the perfect blade of grass to do his business on, during which I pass the time by attempting to talk him into speeding the process up. Had a neighbor walk past one day and give me a rather confused look. Apparently, he doesn't talk to his dog about the benefits and good feelings that follow a great bowel movement. :p

A woman who was sitting on a bench at the vet's holding a yappy toy poodle said, "Now, you're sure he's not going to grab her and just rip her little body apart, and tear her limb from limb?"
They were 10 feet away and I had Hans in a downstay with a prong on, and and I was sitting on his leash.

thanks. i didn't name him. i was waiting for a friend of mines to
open his from door. when he opened the door the first i said
to him was "i need a name for my puppy". he stood there and
scratched his chin and said "Loki". he didn't know what breed
of dog i was getting and i didn't know who Loki was.

The other day when Riley and I walked into the vet's office a little girl in the waiting area exclaimed to her Mom, "look, Mom, it is a giant fox!" The mom and I looked at each other and smiled. A little later the little girl was petting Riley and the Mom was explaining to her that Riley was a dog, not a fox! The little girl didn't seem entirely convinced : ) It was a cute/funny moment.

When I got my first German Shepherd and I was out walking him, a boy who was walking the other way asked me," Is that an English bulldog?" LOL

"Tear her limb from limb?" No, of course not, he can swallow her whole.

Okay, another one, but this one is about a foster dog I had about a year and half ago... a blanket black female GSD... I was taking her out for a walk just as a couple of teenage kids were walking by and they literally stopped in their tracks and said... "oh no... that looks just like the demon dog from..." [the rest of the quote was about a movie I had never heard of and can't remember now].

I laughed and said, "do you want to meet her?" [She was very friendly] After careful deliberation, they said yes and they later agreed that she was not, in fact, a demon dog :)
