Default So do any of you do this?

I bought my dog a doggie stocking filled with toys for his Christmas gift. Do any of you buy your dog's present on birthdays and holidays?

Yes I do. I know for 12 years for Taz and 10 1/2 years for Ginger I bought them a stocking every Christmas. Since Jonas is a different journey, I still get him gifts, just different then I used to do. Like this year I bought him a new RC car.

Yes I do. I wrap them and they open them on Christmas, my oldest loves opening gifts and everyone gets a kick out of it. For birthdays I used to get them cakes, but Midnite got sick after his so I stay away from that for now. Thursday is my goldens birthday and I will take him after work go pick out whatever he wants.

Yes, we love spoiling our pets. This will be Gypsy's first Christmas with us so I am plotting what to get her. Maybe a chuck-it?

There is also the Reddit Presents for Pets Exchange. That is super fun- it's like Secret Santa for pets but it is worldwide. We were Santa for a rat terrier puppy with high prey drive. Got her a Kong Chase-it with squirrel training scent. The really cool part is you can send photos of your pet receiving the gifts afterward. Gypsy got some Greenies, meaty bones, and kong toys out of that exchange.

We got a giant stuffed dragon at Costco which I will loosely wrap and allow the dogs to investigate and destroy. It will make for a pleasant hour or so.

My family dogs have always gotten a stocking of presents for Christmas. Usually there is at least one new fabulously annoying squeaky toy inside.

Absolutely. I also buy presents for my red eared slider and my bearded dragon. For them, I usually just buy new terrarium/aquarium accessories and different kinds of food.
