i love adult dogs , i prefer to adopt them over puppies
i have adopted 2 adult dogs in my life and they were such dream dogs

I agree 100%. My Sting was my first pup, my other dogs I had adopted as adults. I was so happy when Sting grew up. I can also relate to the article because being my first pup, I did blame myself that he didn't turn out to be perfect and I had to do a lot of work and it was a learning experience with no trainers in the area - it took me long - I have to admit to have him fully trained until he as 5 - so these are the best years now. I will probably have to go thru puppyhood again because gsds are so thin on the ground where I am, but it won't take me 5 years the next time
