Default Does your dog help when it's time to get up?

If I keep hitting the snooze button, Gunner will come lick my face but this morning my face was covered so he decided to lick the bottom of my foot which was sticking out from under the covers at the end of the bed.

I would love to know if your dog helps you get out of bed!

Funny you asked that...Our girl wakes up my wife
by 6.00am and then 2 the boys..

They need to get up to go to school...She licks their face until they wake up..haha...

Later in the day she wakes my youngest at 7.30am..

(On weekends we keep our door closed so we can sleep in) haha

She is really like a mother around the house..Very cute...

My dogs usually will wait until I get up,unless they really have to go potty.

Yes. She eats at 6 a.m. since we are up about that time to get ready for work. She will gladly whine and pace to go potty and to eat if we wait much longer.

Yes absolutely every morning like clock work 6 :45 am but hey to me that's a good thing b/c with her l know I won't over sleep and my son won't miss the bus LOL...I hope I just didn't jinx it LOL.. The only time it's annoying is on the weekends when I want to sleep in and her internal clock is still on our normal schedule so I get up and let her go potty and then back to bed we go,Luckilyfor me with 3 kids I'm extremely tired and can fall asleep easily

Yup. For Zeeva it's around 6:00 to 6:30 am she needs to go potty. And then be fed at between 8:30 and 9:30 (depending on what time she's fed the night before). She whines and whines and whines to no avail. If it weren't for my responsibilities with my pets, I wouldn't ever get out of bed...

The second my alarm clock goes off, Zoey jumps from her bed, leaps on top of me and assaults me with kisses like I haven't seen her in days.

Cabo just sits beside the bed and stares at me starting around 0530, weekdays and weekends. I should have never started feeding him first thing in the morning.

Hans sleeps in his expen in the family room. Otherwise, he wakes us up at night because he likes to scratch his Kuranda bed and make an imaginary nest
I usually wake up just before 6 AM and go take him out. He always sits up and looks at me with a "huh?" look on his face, as if to ask why I am getting up at such a crazy hour.
I return him to his ex pen after he makes pee, because he likes to snooze. What can I say, the dog loves his sleep.
On weekends I can even get away with waking up at seven.

As soon as the alarm goes off, they're excitedly coming over to "help" me up.

They don't wait for the alarm on weekends. I'm expected to be up at the same time. Sheesh...they run a tough ship!
