Hi all
Well reading one of the other threads made me decide to ask here ![]() What do you do with your full poo bags? I always pick up after my dogs (which is totally embarrassing as it's law here but most people don't do it - they look at you like you're some kind of freak when you break out a poop baggy) What I really hate is that I still have not found a good way of "transporting" the full bag Often there's no bin handy and I end up having to carry a stinky bag full of poo.I was considering getting like a treat pouch that closes solidly just for full bags. I always double bag it too LOL Mojo is a pest she ALWAYS poops within the first 10-15 min of a walk. Anyone have any clever ideas?? |

Get her to poop before you start your walk? That is what I do; mine are not allowed to poo or pee on our walks.

Thankfully both of mine prefer doing their business in their own backyard. But on the odd chance they need to go I carry bags and just carry the full one until I find a trash bin or get home
Yes it's nasty but it's part of owning a dog unfortunately

Feed it to a tree bear? Or else id teach her to poop right away, and then take care of cleanup at your house and then do the exercise walk. Now I have to remember not to shake hands with people who are walking their dog...

I always have a poop bag or two on me. I keep like 5 rolls of the stuff in my car at all times and I always pick up after my dog. It's all part of being a responsible pet owner.
And to answer your question... I just carry a bag of poop with me until I find a garbage. I pick the stuff up with the bag, so it really doesn't bother me to carry the bag around for a little bit. |

Tie it to my dog's collar as punishment for pooping on our walk. (Just kidding, internet! No animal abuse here.)
I make him poop before a long outing, but in the off chance that he does it during, I usually have a backpack with a plastic pint container or two inside - it keeps it pretty secure until I can find a trashcan.

Earth Rated PoopBags Dispenser
I use this, it has a little clippy on the side and I hang the full bag off that. I use the clip on the top to hook to the handle of my leash, so it hangs down by itself and I don't have to carry it. The bags it comes with are scented so I dont smell a thing. i just drop them in the closest trashcan or open dumpster I can find. better than anyone stepping on it!

LOL ok so we are all in the same boat
I just found a "pack-a-poo" pouch - I like it LOL It would go on my walks belt which holds my baggies, hand wipes keys etc... Plastic container is a good idea too, I just struggle walking 2 dogs and juggling a full bag - lol I'd rather not have a poo bag malfunction all over my hands LOL I always pick up after them, the other day a lady actually thanked me for it and told me if my dogs wanted water to go to her house across the road and fill the bowl under the tap out the front - I thought that was lovely of her seeing as it was a really hot day ![]() HOW do you manage to make them poop?? mine will both pee on command but I have never had any luck with number 2s ![]() If I leave from home to go for a walk it's ok by the time we get halfway down the driveway she'll have gone - but if I leave from work in the middle of suburbia I have no idea how to "empty" her first? |
