So today I am moving into my new apartment with my GSD mix. Any suggestions on her introduction to her new place? She has only known my parents house, which is pretty big with a cat and a dog that messes with all the time.
She is one years old and want this transition to be an easy one. Any suggestions? ![]() This pic is how she sleeps, spoiled.?!?!? Sent from Petguide.com Free App |

Too cute!
If you have her normally socialized so new and different is her 'normal' then she'll be just fine. Make sure her bed/crate/bowls/toys and normal stuff is out and about to reassure her about the new home. You may want to be a bit more aware than usual about really exercising her to tire her out so she's more inclined to chill out and relax rather then be nervous and upset. Normal meal times and normal routines help the moves go smoothly.

whenever i moved into a new place i always took
the dog for a few visits before moving. your dog is going to be find with the new place. the move is going to be harder on you than the dog.
