Default Dog Run?

I am looking for a dog run for Lulu. She loves to be outside but I worry about her escaping (our fence needs repairing) and dont want to just leave her in the back yard. I am looking for a dog run that could go partly in the ground so if/when she digs, she wont easily get out.

Anyone have a source they wouldnt mind sharing? Thanks.

Try checking on Craigslist in your location under pets. I see dog runs all the time for sale used on there.

I would consider spending the money on fixing the fence rather then the dog run.... before I built my fence, I bought Zoey a dog pen 13x7 area..... few weeks later we build the fence..... hasn't been in it since and a waste of $400

I have a large dog run within my back yard. Works great when you have to crate and rotate family members when they don't get along. Works well on the dogs too.

Hubby custom built it. I don't recall the measurements. It's totally made of the higher grade chain link. He put chain link on the bottom as well. The entire unit sits on landscape timbers (to keep it from sinking into the gumbo). I fill in the bottom with dirt, so the dog doesn't walk on chain link. It makes it easier to clean as well. Every so many years he'll yank it out of the ground, change out the landscape timbers.

I have a large back yard that is totally fenced. I also have a seperate run within the back yard that divides 1/4 of the yard. But I never use it because it's too far from the rest of the house. I just leave that gate open. The chain link run that we built sits up by the house, and the fence that we walk by twice a day going to the barn. My theory on that is so that whomever is in the run doesn't feel banished from the rest of the kingdom.
