Is this little girl purebred
 

Hi I was curious to see what everybody thinks. I got her when she was 12 weeks old and I was told that she was purebred. She is 1 year and 3 months old right now and weighs 44 pounds and is 22 inches tall at the shoulder. The only thing that started making me think that she isn't was just her size and weight but maybe she's just a small girl. Thanks

Without a pedigree we can't say for sure. But yes, she appears purebred to me. Usually, the smallest end of the GSD scale is 50 lbs full grown though(I think).

My full grown female is barely 22 inches and 50 pounds soaking wet. Now, she is trim so could possibly gain 2-4 pounds.

I think your girl looks like a GSD. A pretty one at that:).

Thank you for the reply. it's especially when she stands next to my male which is on the high end of gsd standards that she just looks so dainty. Which is funny to watch because she'll run circles around him and you can tell he gets frustrated because he can't keep up with her.

Maybe flyball is in her future? ;):)
Pretty girl, looks purebred to me too.

My female is 55lbs lean. She has good duration on long strenuous hikes. She can climb/run up and down rocky slopes with ease. Doesn't pant much. Being small can have its benefits. =)

I wish my female was petite! She takes after her father, who was HUGE! She is 26", and weighs 83 lbs! She is 2 years old, and although I have her on a diet, I think for her height, 75 lbs will be the perfect weight for her. Still not petite!!

She looks like a white GSD to me. She's lovely! My white girl is 27" and 74 lbs. She is a huge girl with a big, long curly tail too.
