Default Does your company allow you to bring dogs to work?

Pretty self explanatory question. Just curious if any members on here bring their dogs to work with them, particularly those that work in a city. A company I've worked for in the past in Manhattan allows employees to bring their dogs to work -- large and small -- provided they are well behave. We were a pretty big company, 250+ people in the one NY office.

I can bring my dogs to work. I work at an ER vet clinic. I don't normally do it though.

I'm self employed and bring a couple of dogs in with us. I think more companies would do it if they didn't have to worry about liability and irresponsible owners.

We have a shop cat and she disapproves of dogs at work. She absolutely hates them and will attack, however I have brought Tuke with me when I get called in to plow snow, she loves going for truck rides.

Everywhere I've worked has had a pretty relaxed animal policy. As long as they were kenneled, well behaved, UTD on shots, and the rest of the crews were okay with it, we were welcome to bring them. The only place I ever had trouble was where I did a six month internship. Two supervisors had SAR dogs who were DA, so we weren't allowed to have pets there.

Where my wife works all employees bring their dogs occasionally to the office. My wife brings our dog at least once a week. Sometimes more often.

Technically, I am not 'supposed' to, but my boss doesn't really care that I know of. He sees him sitting in my car all the time. (I am with him. I work out of my car.) I bring a tether so i can tie him to trees and he can enjoy the fresh air and not be cramped in the car. I don't work in the city though.
