Default Truck Boxes for German Shepherds?

Hello! I am looking to purchase an aluminum dog box for my two shepherds to travel in my truck. I use to have one that housed my APBT and my Malinois, but sadly it was stolen. My problem is, unfortunately, that my GSD from Czech is very tall. Most of the dog compartments are only 24" in height inside. My female I am not too worried about, but I feel 24" is too low for the male. And as much as I know they are lower in height so they lay down while traveling, I feel this would make him uncomfortable.

Doe anyone have any experience or suggestions? I am thinking a custom made box is probably the only way for me to go, but I figured that if I asked here someone would have a suggestion or recommendation. I am thinking a 48"wide/48"deep/30"height would probably do it. I don't need a lot of insulation, I am in Florida and really a summertime box is fine. I don't travel in the heat of the day, just evenings/nights/early morning. Thanks!

I have Owens 55033. They now have models with left and right doors though I am certain some of the old models are still out there. Two will fit between the wheel wells of a standard pickup and can be held in with ratchet straps.

38 long, 24 wide, 30 high each around $500. Welded aluminum good ventilation. Removable storm covers. They only ship freight but you can find distrubutors on their site which is what I did. the 55033 is not a standard stock item but we did not have to pay freight - they just put on next order.

Thanks Jocoyn, that looks much better then most of the ones I have found online. I was hoping Owens had a taller box then the 2 bay truck boxes I was looking at ( the tallest I could find was 26").

Google did not turn up much for me ( I already tried this). A manufacturer's "tall" dog box is usually 24". That is why I came here.

I like having two separate boxes. Mainly because I can physically manage 50lbs of box but not 100lbs without help.

True most of the hunt dog boxes are 24 tall and I know that is for making them lay down but I like having the taller height as we may be someplace the better part of a day and I want the dog to be able to sit and stand.
