I had to have a blood transfusion this am - when I got home, who greeted me at the door? The 95-lb Lunkhead, wagging her tail so hard against the wall, she actually left a mark! (That's one dirt spot I'm going to leave alone for awhile!) She may not 'speak' English - but she understands even more than I've given her credit for. She's been a pain at times, but she's been a gift. Love the Breed. Love this Dog.

2013 may be my last - I've learned to cherish all kinds of things along this journey. Rescuing this overgrown puppy, Ziva, is something I will continue to cherish even tho she still drives me batty at times.

GSD's are a very special breed for sure, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well and I truly hope it's a special one.

Beautiful. Oliversmama, I am glad you enjoy the good things in hard times. A good dog is such a treasure. And yes, consider the tail wag on your wall a good omen.
This one is mine: I don't know of any other animal who would freely choose our company above its own.
