Default How much do you spend on trainers?

Just curious how much you guys pay (or charge if you're a trainer) for training. The trainer I want to go with charges $75/session for private training. Group classes are $100/10 sessions.

Are you trying to figure out if this is a fair price or just the average??

I paid $325 for 4 private lessons with a drive of 1hr on their part. I have been quoted as much as $115 per lesson with a drive of less than 5 miles!

Don't make me think about it! Hahaha I don't want to add up all that I have paid.

My trainer charges $120 an hour for local privates. The further she drives the more she charges. Group classes are $120 for six or $340 for six months.

We paid $150 for an hour and a half of private, worth it.
Other classes have been $25 each.

$200/two private, one hour lessons

group classes $35/each - may seem like a lot, but it is a private well maintained field with lots of fun agility equip.

Some trainers in my area charge almost as much to train in a parking lot with no equipment.

Actually, that's the $$ high end of private classes in my town. He's also the only trainer I'm aware of that actually competes with his dogs; he has 2 Malinois in Flyball, Schutzhund, ringsport, obedience and is the decoy for the Schutzhund club here. Not only that but he uses a mostly positive approach, which is where I prefer to start. A lot of trainers here are either very old-school or not worth the money. So far he is the only trainer I'd be willing to give my money to around these parts. His wife also competes and runs the Mal rescue here.

Frankly I'm just comparing rates since I figured it'd be different across the nation. Not that it'd help me, since it probably won't be near me. Looks like my deal is pretty sweet.

ETA: Oops, in my OP I meant $100/8 group sessions not 10.

I wish I could find group classes for under $120 for six sessions. Agility runs me $150.00 every six weeks. I wanna pay $35.00 for training
